Curiously, the more one reads of this material, the more it starts to make sense

That link is pretty good Mike. Although the author is ill-informed about the old testament and the practises surrounding the temple and Jah worship in general. A lot of the brutality needs to be reflected upon in terms of symbolic reference to future events.
When taken on the surface and often out of context, then certainly the God of the Bible is a horrific beast.
I no longer regard the Bible as the absolute source for enlightment. But there is a thread of events woven throughout that book that lead to very distinct visions of the future, mapped out hundreds of years ago. Some may say vague in places, but nevertheless, still intriguing.
Also, the moral code layed down mainly through the character of Christ is still useful to this day. Many yobs in the UK would be wise to study that guys actions over the actions of their imediate peers. A more peaceful world would follow.
I hasten to add ** I am not a Christian ** merely an observer of truth, in what ever shape or form in may take.
David Icke (God bless his reptilian ways) also believe it or not, has pearls amongst the mire of information he has on offer. At least he breaks free from the "norm" and constructs alternate explanations for world events. More power to his elbow !

For those of you who hate these subjects and also distrust anybody who knocks on your door and threatens you with the Bible or whatever spiritual leaflet they may have, why not invest in one of these ?
