Chortle just fixed another simple problem here when I came up with the saying
"Can't see the Forest for the Trees"..
So he turns round and says don't you mean "wood for the trees" ?..
Kinda funny.. You see I work it this way..
As most people go out and buy expensive items (Gadgets) then fail to read the destructions before playing I feel it only fair to explain the fixes backwards, or flipped as it were..
As support 90% of the problems I solve at the desk involve standing back and looking at the problem, before even touching the machine. So I stand back and see the Forest while he is stomping around lost in it, looking for a hill to see the forest, only all these damn trees keep getting in the way.
Or in other words I look at the problem from the top down, rather than bottom up.
Any thoughts?
