Speedball 2 - Xbox

Post by Yam Boy »

anyone know of a complete proper working version of this on the X-Box?

got a Sega Genesis version which is fine apart from the sound/music

would love to hear the music whilst playing and the chant of "Ice Cream"

just wasted 3+ hours playing the league with the sound focked :D

amazing game!

Are you on about a working rom for speedball 2? Anyway, I dunno. Have you tried the amiga one? I cant remember there being any ingame music on the amiga version tho. Just starting to check out xbox emulators. Which is my main reason for posting. Whats the best megadrive/mega cd emu on the box at the moment? I was trying neogenesis at the weekend which ran pretty well but i kept losing sound fx playing sonic cd.

The Sega Genesis Emulator on Emule is pretty darn good.... (700 meg)

(i downloaded an additional 900 roms (some dupes) and bunged them in the same folder as the roms on the emulator before burning the DVD to get a nice 1800 game)

it seems that the original Genesis version of Speedball 2 didn't come with ingame music.... (well according to a few mates whilst playing it round my mates the weekend)

gonna try the Amiga version, but the stick in the gamepad doesn't work, unlike the Genesis emulator....

the Nintendo emulator is pretty cool, spend most of last weekend playing Yoshi's Island :D

Without a doubt one of the best games Nintendo ever released ..! (I assume you do mean the SNES version though and not the hideous N64 version?).

I'm pretty certain the Amiga version didn't have any in game music although I remember a thumping soundtrack for the title screen.. :)

You tried the new version of UaeX yet?

Ahh Speedball 2 and Supercars 2 .. Brings back memories.. :)

Talking of memories.. anyone seen the film, or should I say short films?
Very good.. Liked the first one.. :)
