The wind?

Post by dan »

We've had several problems with trees around the halls I've been staying in, but this one came as a total surprise. Suddenely fell over! Got some pics of it.... quite a sight...

We think it may have rotted - its windy, but not strong enough to damage like that. Came totally out of the blue. No one heard it, and its sticking out onto the road outside too. Incredible. :)

Doesn't happen very often like this! :D

That takes some doing!

We had some of the loudest thunder I have ever heard here last light. It physically rattled our windows.

Cool pics..

I love the Thunder.. :)

We have some bad weather for the next couple of days, as you can imagine working on an Offshore Wind Farm we know about these things a fair bit before you guys do ;)

I had the chance to see the Lifeboat crew go out today to rescue a boat in destress and watched it come in the habour too.. Those guys have some balls, I would have cacked myself if someone told me to go out in it!

Anyway make the most of it peeps.. It's set in till Sat/Sun at least !

;)
