DVD to DivX - how?

Ok then - I remember a disk Chain gave me ages ago to convert DVD to DivX and I never knew how to use the various tools.

Is there a new app' out there that will do this "easily" for me?

Interesting ... Amazing structures. Did you know that there are a host of people through the ages who have used measurements from within the pyramids to predict future events along the timeline. A little known fact is that "Charles Taze Russell" (JWs) used pyramidology to predict 1914 as a...

Belleville Rendez-vous

If you haven't seen this animation - can't recommend it enough. Bought it last week and thoroughly, THOROUGHLY, enjoyed it last night.

Full of typically French highly-stylized visuals and themes.

Awesome !

Well I suppose one positive aspect will be that you have future opportunites to travel to Germany to visit :D Cleaner standard of living, subjectively better education system, better social networks (apparently) and better sausages! I'd rather be there than here at the moment. Hope the growth gets b...

Thanks for the offer. Actually slept not too bad at all last night - bit broken with weirdo dreams, but hey ... I have sleeping tablets as well, but only use those at desperate moments - they make you feel really trippy the day after (Jimi P - want to buy a few ? ). Have found Valerian ok at t...

I think one negative apsect of Beyond Good & Evil was the lack of use of the space craft. It took ages to upgrade to that craft type and then it was only used minimally. It was really good fun floating around using the ship and they could have exploited that aspect far more. Maybe including more...

Weird sleep patterns?

Any of you guys have weird sleep patterns from time to time?

Have been dropping off about 4 every morning this week. Go to bed knackered and then lie awake for ages.

Really odd.

Whats 1080 like then? Does it compare to the N64 game? Haven't read a lot about it to be honest.

If anybody out there has the US or UK Soul Calibur for Xbox - can you let me know please?

Beyond Good & Evil - finished ... quite nice. Cliche city throughout and no where near the standard of the recent Zelda/GC, but rather nice all the same. No replay value at all IMO. Grabbed By The Ghoulies - fun while it lasted, but no desire to go back and slog my way through those freaks agai...

you said it would make your day if I took some video of me smashing up a C64... will a joystick or a disk drive do? No don't do it ... it's only a joke. If I had my C64 + disk drive and the will power, I'd still power it up from time to time. But, if you do feel the need  - then please pos...

It is no bad concept and will work with a bit of fiddling and tweaking. I think the joystick could be rendered a little more clearly. I knew what it was (due to my history) but others may look and think, "what the hell?" Maybe use a different perspective with the joystick. You could also h...

Our 15 year old cat's starting to come down with arthritis
My other cat has a touch of that as well, has had for about 4 years and to be honest, she has adjusted quite well. It has affected her mobility slightly, but she is still as happy as Larry.

I think when these two have gone, I won't have anymore. I can't deal with the lows. I get too attached.

Pets and then they die ...

 - one of my cats is on her last legs and I have sat there looking at her and wondering why I ever took her on in the first place.

It really is dreadful to watch and thoroughly depressing. The emotional attachment can be devastating for us.

Just thought I'd share that vision for the day.

Weird mail problem !

Hi guys - any ideas to an annoying problem I have? I keep getting a stack of mails bounced back at me, as if I am sending out SPAM using my own Email box? This has been happening for a while now, but of late seems to be getting a lot worse. I had about 50 sent back overnight :x I have run a thorough...

It could be partially down to the fact that most of us have had the ability to invest in several systems. Many moons ago (ahem) I only had one machine at any one time (in the 80s) and had to make do. My favour used to shine upon that machine and that machine alone. If I were restricted only to the G...
