http://www.cdrom-businesscard.co.uk/?page=docs/vinylcd

Bit expensive at the moment mind, but I'm sure the prices will drop failry soon.

They do shaped CD's as well.

Sorry if I'm a square and you've all seen this before!

Blank CDR's

Anyone know a good online store I can buy ALL SILVER CDRs? They must have absolutely no text/pictures on them, and be as ridge free as posible.

I await your advice......

If the box goes sub £100 I may consider it. I can't help thinking that if I bought the Xbox I would mainly use it for emulation, which my PC can do better....

Top stuff!

Went to the Paul McCartney gig at the Manchester M.E.N. last night (Thursday). I'm guessing there aren't too many big McCartney fans here, but I have to say the gig was fantastic. Easily the best I've ever been to. The production was superb. I was seated centre front stage, 8 rows from the front, so...

Hmmm
Indeed I did. It was for the full version of Soundforge 6 (plus any extra filters etc.). I managed to bag a crack for the demo version tonight, which did the main job, but if you do have the full retail version that'd be rather handy :)

Yes. If I were to get a DVD writer, it would be for games/storage only. Too much hassle to copy a film which you can probably get dirt cheap or watch only a couple of times. Having said that, my mate copies DVD's with his Philips 880 'home' DVD recorder (LOOONG link below). As you probably know, thi...

for the covers I go to www.cdcovers.cc (always have too) Backing up movies.. God where do I start.. First you need to get hold of Smart Ripper, DVD2One and Nero (With the DVD addon or latest update). Rip the whole disc to Hdd with Smart ripper If the disc is bigger than 4.2Gb then you need to run D...

I thought about Maplins, but had a bad online experience with them once, so I'd probably use them as a last resort, plus, I don't want to be paying a few quid P&P for a 20p unit :)

Yes, I am probably thinking about a 2.5mm one.

Jack plug

Trying to source a small jack plug. They are the ones a step down from the 3.5mm type used on most walkman type headphones (the ones they used to use on earphones, for those crappy miniature radios). Does anyone know where I can get one? My supplier doesn't stock them :(

Epson is king in my house too, never had a problem with them. Chain is right... forget about Epson inks. "official" Epson inks for my printer cost £9.99 for black, and £18.99 for colour. I buy 3rd party inks from ARD Electronics. £1.56 for black, and £2.75 for colour. Absolutely no percept...

I've been using Play for around 3 years now (around 300+ online purchases from them at the last count), and so far have never had to pay import tax. They are based in Jersey. I buy mostly R1 films as opposed to the UK/PAL R2's as you usually get more extras, plus of course you get new releases much ...

The TV series was excellent Simon. I agree with Chain that it was better than the film, though some people disagree. Detailed info is available at IMDB.com or the direct link here: http://us.imdb.com/Title?0142032 It's also available at play.com here (where I buy 95% of my DVD's): http://www.playser...

I did have the R2 version about 12 months ago (now deleted I believe). Sadly, the transfer is pants (grainy and dark picture) and I gave it away.

You may want to wait for the new S.E. version later this year. A new enhanced transfer in anamorphic widescreen and lots of lurvely extras.
