Yep!

http://www.commodorescene.org.uk/

From what I gather from other sources, it's a publication put into binders now. Don't know the full ins and outs but here's the link. I stopped getting it back in 2001.

Self-promotion

Thought I'd mention that my first attempt at a website for myself has finally come to some completion. It's at http://www.sleepingboy.co.uk all fully set up. I dropped the joystick idea for the CV and went for another one of my other interests instead... :) Comments would be greatly appreciated! It ...

Its events like this that make you realise how short life is... :( Really sorry to hear that. A couple of months ago I had a visit from the police while working, to say that they had the room keys for a deceased international student. A bit shocked, as I knew who he was and we had gotten along reall...

According to the page http://handbrake.m0k.org/ , it's available for beOS and Linux as well.... so if you have access, would highly recommend giving it a go: :)

It's full quality output too.

Don't know if you can get it for PC, but I found a program called HandBrake, which converts a DVD to MPEG-4 (which you can easily turn into DivX or XVid). It's free, really easy to use, and the quality is pretty good. ;)

That's the part to look forward to, and after seeing what my friends say about the place, she should do better. if anything I'm probably jealous. :)

While on the subject, if you like your manga-style animation, check out Spirited Away. It's simply superb, with a great story. Really enjoyed it when I saw it in the cinema.

No don't do it ... it's only a joke. If I had my C64 + disk drive and the will power, I'd still power it up from time to time. I got rid of my entire setup, apart from a few bits and pieces. It's all Power64 and SIDPLAY now! :) Still got one C64 left in the garage at home. I am taking apart a joyst...

Yeah, it's that joystick that's been annoying me too... :) Think I took the role of vector graphics a bit to seriously on that one... I've already had a few puzzled looks over it! It's been either a vacuum cleaner or a coat hook (which lights up! hehe). My main thought (as someone else suggested) is...

Opinions? CV Flash Project

I've finally managed to get into Flash big-time, and actually started to enjoy it!! As part of a my final year, I have to do an Interactive CV. I've put what I've done so far up at http://www.sleepingboy.co.uk - just wondered what people thought. It's still VERY rough - so far only one "button&...

Thanks mate! :)

The port was mainly used for a mouse anyway, but a hub looks like a good idea seeing as he's about to add more to his setup...

The machine is under warranty, but it's mainly due to the amount of work on right now that he doesn't want to take it back just yet.
