There is always the backdoor option Shane. A friend of mine had serious anxiety problems and he saw no way out.... so - he declared himself bankrupt, went 'on the sick' and moved into a rented flat. Several years later on, and he is in much better health and is stable again, with money in the bank. ...

As think as 'S' ...

A survey from online bank Egg found one in three people bought items they did not need when prices were cut.
 - we are a collective joke at the sales.

Suddenly a beige sports jacket with leather padded elbows looks an item of rare beauty when it sports the 50% off mark down myth.

Hehe - oh well, at least I can 'chunter on' at Shane's place for a while. But ... my board will return in some shape or form. I need an outlet to be really negative about this crappola world we live in. Glad Christmas is almost over. Only the sales and new year to get through now, then back to obser...

Well, I have a cartridge for Gameboy that is called Donkey Kong 94 that appears to be relatively hard to come by now and was partially the brainchild of Shiguru Myamoto ... soooooooooo, that is the one thing I have clung to. Plus a US N64 with most of the top games (NTSC speedy originals). Although ...

There are one or two posts at my place James ... BTW - love Halo2 (Frenchy version) - played it loads across link-up and also finished the single player game. Still looking forward to the English language version though. You don't like the 'king prawns' (as I call them) ? - wait until they fight alo...

Installed it Monday and so far, no problems at all ... so a thumbs up here!

Disabled the Firewall, although not sure why and using ZoneAlarm at the moment.

Don't really know a lot about Firewalls though, so just go with what I know.

How safe am I with a software-based Firewall? :?

Well, I can confirm that Doom 3 runs on my system, rarely glitching using the manufacturers settings. It chose 640x480 and I thought - yuk!! Then loaded up and started exploring. To be honest, you can't really tell the game is running in a lower resolution due to the detail crammed into the game. Th...

I will be attempting an install v-soon (when it lands) and will let you know how I get on. I popped a 2.2 GHz P4 in here a few months back and have an old 128 Meg G4-4600 in here + 1/2 Gig Ram ... so, we will see. It just gets me down the PC market. I'd rather put up with a low res highly optimized ...

the Nintendo emulator is pretty cool, spend most of last weekend playing Yoshi's Island
Without a doubt one of the best games Nintendo ever released ..! (I assume you do mean the SNES version though and not the hideous N64 version?).

Sounds like a dose of reality then ..! To be honest, none of this shocks me. I read a book by David Icke (yes, I know) about 9/11 and there are some really odd accounts in there about the circumstances leading up to it and subsequent events. Although David's book contains a lot of pseudo-new age con...

I can see both sides of the argument - for and against scamming the scammers. I personally would not scam a scammer. My personal philosophy is not to fight fire with fire, but to find other means to solve the problem. Reaching out to those who are victims is an excellent thing to do and also educati...
