NAME:
Fi Craig

COMPUNET ID:
Diesel

WHAT SHE DID
Wrote funny stuff for my Compunet area, Diesel's Dump and as such became something of a Cnet celeb. Was a member of the ICC. Spent many drunken nights on Partyline, then when the game Federation appeared spent many drunken nights there, and became one of the top players. I also wrote a summary of Eastenders for someone's soap area.

CLAIM TO COMPUNET FAME:
Came 2nd in the Compunet Personality thingy (can't remember what year, and I can't find the dinky little trophy I was awarded...) Beaten by Dr. Fogg, a worthy adversary. I also won several short story contests run by the ICC. Wrote the manual for Federation and wrote a regular news bulletin for players.

WHAT'S SHE UP TO NOW:
Still in the online biz, I teamed up with Alan Lenton, the designer/programmer of Federation, and we now run our own company producing multi-playing games on the Internet. Federation can be found at www.ibgames.net. The Diesel's Dump articles are now at www.chezdiesel.demon.co.uk.

OTHER STUFF:

TOP THREE FAVOURITE PROGRAMS/HARDWARE:
Back in the C-64 days, Eddy Carroll's Edterm was the best. Then I got an Atari ST and my two faves were Jeff Minter's Trip-A-Tron, and Dungeon Master. Now I use a PC and the best game of all time is Ultima Underworld.

BETWEEN WHICH DATES WERE YOU A MEMBER OF COMPUNET:
Sorry, can't remember, but for at least 3 years before the demise of Compunet.
