New Xbox games ...

Post by beardfreak »

Mortal Kombat - Ok, loadsa blood, same old - same old. Kinda fun for 10 minutes.

Micro Machines - Superb graphics, but soooo bloody fiddly to play. Probably better once I get to learn the courses. The graphics though, awww, how lovely. Spend more time looking at the backgrounds than racing.

Namco Collection - Excellent, agree Shane. Seen it all before, but nicely put together and rather playable still. Highlights again how hard these old games are !!

Panzer Dragoon Orta - My mental jury is out at present. I really like it, but I think I'm swooning at the graphics and presentation. It plays like Panzer Dragoon 2 on Saturn, same game with better graphics and a few twists thrown into the mix. Great overall package, but at the heart of the game, a basic "crosshair" shoot'em up. I am getting to the stage where I fail to swoon and be won over by the next gen' graphics (which is a shame). Same happened with Splinter Cell which looks the absolute business. So soon, so soon do the good things fade

... cheers Shane - I've had fun tonight looking at this lot

If you do another, could you stick Tony Hawks 4 on there, tar ! Saves the load times on CDR-w.

Oh & Moto GP - same again, saves me the load times. Plus, it's a nice racer

I'm sure Jim would

Just mail him and tell him your terms. I have mentioned 2 for 1, but I think he's shy ! (the big girl)

Actually, might try and drag him into town later for a drink ... eh Jim ?
